Come experience the special dynamic that group sessions offer! We are offering more mat sessions and have added to our new small-group equipment classes.
The fantastic 45-minute Reformer and/or Wunda Chair classes are capped at four or five participants, so you still enjoy substantial instructor guidance while getting a great workout. At $45 per session (less when you purchase a package) and only $25 per session for mat classes (which are capped at 8 to 10 participants), this is an economical way to achieve the time-tested benefits of classical Pilates, standing alone or as a supplement your private sessions.

WE WELCOME BROOKE SILER TO HER NEW HOME!
Pilates Challenge is deliriously thrilled to be the new home of the world-famous Brooke Siler, the pinnacle of Pilates professionals, author of the two all-time best-selling Pilates books, media go-to Pilates guru, sought-after trainer of trainers, and founder of the iconic re:AB studio. With all that, she is the loveliest, most gracious person and generously shares not only her expertise but also her passion for Pilates. Brooke now is available to teach on a limited basis. SMALL GROUP APPARATUS CLASSES
Brooke also has brought along oodles of her Gratz equipment, doubling the apparatus at Pilates Challenge and enabling us to implement some small-group apparatus classes. Beginning SEPTEMBER 8, 2014, we will be offering several small group Reformer and Wunda Chair classes in addition to our popular mat classes. It’s a new schedule and a new system, so please call or email the studio for details.
AND – it just keeps getting better! — two of Brooke’s longstanding instructors have joined us, too. Roberta Musolino and Emma Rivera, both of whom were directly involved in running Brooke’s apprentice training program and are fabulously experienced instructors, will be teaching at Pilates Challenge, beginning this week!
ALSO (see – there’s MORE!) – Brooke’s current apprentice, Matthew Pasqua, is completing his 700 hours under Brooke’s tutelage and is available to teach for the next few weeks at a discounted Junior Instructor rate of $50 per private session. Matt came into the program with a fantastic background in fitness. He holds a Master’s Degree in Exercise Physiology from Columbia University, and he is an experienced personal trainer and a First Dan Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do. Grab a few sessions now to get to know this great new instructor while this special rate is in effect!

Brooke Siler, the incomparable trainer of trainers, author of the two all-time Pilates best-sellers, and media go-to fitness guru has closed the doors at her iconic re:AB Pilates Studio. We mourn the loss of this institution that provided a home for Pilates professionals and devotees for 17 years. There are two silver linings, though: Brooke will achieve her goal of having more time and flexibility to be with her adorable sons AND she will be teaching here, at Pilates Challenge, beginning August 12, 2014!! We are thrilled beyond belief to welcome Brooke. She’s also bringing oodles of her equipment from re:AB, so we will be expanding our options for scheduling and will be adding group equipment classes. Fall now is in full swing and so are our fantastic mat classes. We have added Wednesday evenings at 7:00 p.m. and an additional Saturday morning class at 11:00 a.m. The Saturday 11:00 a.m. session will be taught by the ever-amazing, ever-challenging Stephanie Torbik. Stay tuned, too, for weekend classes in the afternoons and for special mat classes for dancers, beginning soon.
A mat class provides an amazing 45- minute workout. Sessions are designed for participants of all levels of fitness and experience. Classes are small, so our instructors can help you focus on what’s appropriate for you. Classes are $25 per session, but packages are available, as is a 30-day unlimited mat-class pass for $250.
So here’s the current run down on mat classes:
Mondays at 6:00 p.m.
Tuesdays at 7:00 p.m.
Wednesdays at 9:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.
Thursdays at 10:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.
Fridays at 10:00 a.m.
Saturdays at 10: 00 a.m. and 12:00 noon.
Call or email now to reserve space. Walk-ins usually can be accommodated but, because class sizes are limited, we recommend that you check first and reserve if you can.
